Privacy notice
We're a group of Ickenham residents trying to keep our dog waste bins. We collect as little as we can and we never sell or share it.
What we collect
When you pledge, adopt a bin or volunteer: your name, email address, road and the details you type into the form. When you report a bin: its location, the photo you add, and your name and email if you choose to give them.
Why
To count local support, to contact you about the scheme you signed up for, and to show bins on the map. We rely on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form.
Where it's kept
In a Google Sheet and Google Drive folder that only the organisers can open. Bin photos and locations are shown publicly on the map once checked. Names, emails and roads are never shown on the site; the site only shows totals.
How long
Until the scheme ends, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time. Email us at hello@bintheredungthat.co.uk and we'll sort it within a month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
